15 Feb 2010 — SIU team were invited to MOU signing ceremony between Strategic Studies Center, National Defence Studies Institute and Asia Studies Institute, Chulalongkorn University.

10 Feb 2010 — SIU team were invited to Digital Media Asia 2010 Launch Dinner at Grand Ballroom, Centara Grand Hotel.

Digital Media Asia 2010 is the project by Software Industry Promotion Agency and the Ministry of ICT. It is a series of campaign focusing on digital media industry, including games, film & music, and animation. It is part of Royal Thai Government's "Creative Economy" initiative and is funded by Stimulus Package 2 ("Thai Kemkhang") budget for 200 million baht.

28 January 2010, Siam Intelligence Unit, in conjunction with Friedrich Naumann Foundation and The Faculty of Political Science at Chulalongkorn University, organized the public seminar "ก้าวข้าวความขัดแย้งสังคมไทย" (Get Over Thailand Conflict) at Choompot-Pantip Room, PrajadhipokขRambhai Barni Building, Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University.

Isriya Paireepairit, SIU's IT Consultant, participated in National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) forum on Thai Internet Users Survey 2009.

17 December 2009, SIU has a presentation at Dinner Talk: "The Use of IT Media to Increase Youth's Political Participation", organized by Friedrich Naumann Foundation at Rembrandt Hotel.

"iZen" is the name of SIU's regular monthly meeting. This month we presented on two topics: Global Economy Outlook 2010 by Surasak Dhammo, SIU economist and Thailand Strategy in the Next Decade by Isriya Paireepairit, SIU consultant.

19 October 2009, SIU, in coordination with LIRNEasia and Thai Media Policy Center, Chulalongkorn University, organized the Thailand’s regulatory environment and spectrum challenges: Evaluation of Thailand’s regulatory environment, with a special focus on spectrum allocation with lessons from India to announce the result of telecom regulation study in Thailand.
