Bangkok:April, 9th - 10th 2009; Change Fusion, SEACeM and Freevoice were organized E-media startups business plan workshop for E-media enterprises who were selected form E-media Staetups Competition programme.

The workshop aim to sharpen the business plan for early stage E-media Social Enterprises the output of the workshop will be rated and the winners will receive incubation supports as well as USD 10,000 equity-like loan for seed/startup fund, the workshop was attended by 4 E-media ventures. Two were selected for loan consideration: Siam Intelligent Unit (SIU) from Thailand and Real Picture from Nepal.

After 2 days workshop for develop the business plans, the output came up with Siam Intelligent Unit (SIU) who proposed business model of social & economic research base news portal and Real Picture who proposed business model of produce community base video news and documentary online in Nepal.

Those 2 ventures will be move forward to the incubation process closely with SEACeM and Change Fusion. The progress of the project will be posted on this website as well as 2nd e-media competition announcement in near future.

15 January 2009, Friedrich Naumann Foundation, our financial supporter, opened new Bangkok office at BBC Tower, Ekkamai. SIU team visited the opening ceremony.
